Assistant Press Manager - Apprentice

The Daily Inter Lake and Hagadone Media Montana are looking for a smart, mechanically inclined and hard working individual to join us in a newly created position. The Assistant Press Manager Apprentice is an opportunity for the right person who is ready to take the next step in their career and train to be the #2 person in our pressroom. Our Pressroom Manager has more than 27 years of experience and is considered one of the best press operators in Montana. You get to learn from the best and in less than a year you’ll be helping to lead this small, but top notch team. Starting wage is $22/hour with merit increases every 3 months as you grow into the Assistant Press Manager position. This is a swing shift position working generally between 5 pm and 1 am. Flexibility to work non-routine shifts as required including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be 18 years or older, able to lift up to 75lbs and be able to discern color (cannot be color-blind). Press experience helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. Come join our fast paced work environment with a fun crew.
