Director of Finance
The City is seeking a Director of Finance to perform a variety of complex administrative, technical and routine clerical functions in finance and accounting. The Director of Finance supervises and oversees operations of the finance department, performs city treasurer functions, and management as required by state statute and city policy. The Director of Finance reports to the City Manager and serves as a key member of the City’s management team. This position assists the City Manager in long range financial planning, revenue trends and budget forecasting.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in accounting, finance, business or public administration or closely related field with five years of progressively more complex municipal financial responsibilities or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The salary range for the Director of Finance is $80,000-$90,000 depending on experience.
